Graphics card requirement

LG owner’s manual troubleshooting: 4K 144Hz over HDMI needs an NVIDIA RTX 3000 series / AMD RX 6000 series GPU or newer.

Notes

PHASE 1.85 correction: HDMI and DP are SYMMETRIC at 4K/144Hz. HDMI reaches it with no DSC; DP needs DSC. The PHASE 1.8 "HDMI capped at 120Hz" reading was wrong (Video Timing table vs PC Factory Support Mode table).

Last verified: 2026-09-02 (seed data).
