Notes

Max refresh is 165Hz (corrected from an earlier ~240Hz assumption), confirmed twice (ASUS spec page + manual). 165Hz is DisplayPort / USB-C only - HDMI 2.0 is capped at 5120x1440/75Hz per ASUS’s own scan-frequency table and section 3.5 Supported Timing List. DisplayPort at 5120x1440/165Hz exceeds HBR3 and requires DSC. Only "VESA Adaptive-Sync" is named officially; branded G-SYNC / FreeSync certs are not. The HDMI 75Hz cap is official port timing (modelled as structured data above), not a Known Exception.
